We've been trying to teach Duke how to get his red ball out from the water. He usually takes a few minutes to work up the courage to stick his head in the water, but he eventually does it. Most of the time he'll test out his pity skills and just stare at you and see if you'll get it for him so he won't have to get wet. That only works on little kids. We've gotten wise to him on that one.
