Patient accessories...

Even though we hated seeing him in pain, it was so cute to see him in his wound booties (aka socks).

Tight squeeze...

After the Thanksgiving accident happened, me & V needed to make sure that Duke's paws didn't get infected in any way. We had to clean the wound and re-wrap it daily. That meant Duke had to stay still during this process. Yup, Duke....still...don't think so. We came up with a way to hold him down without tramatizing him......great big hugs!

I didn't want the wound to sting, so the only logical thing I could think of was to blow on the wound after applying the antiseptic. That's what my mom used to do to make it not hurt so much. I hope that works on doggie pain, too.

Poor guy. I know the pain bothered him since he tried to squirm and was whining a bit. It got to the point where he let out a sigh of relief after every paw was cleaned. Funny how dogs act so humanly.

Do not try this at home...

Other than the obvious, another reason why you should not jump out of a moving truck.

Poor Duke. He's okay, just a few scrapes on his paws and nails. He'll be back to his crazy self in a few days. I hope he learned his lesson. Note to self : Dogs are not allowed in the back of the truck anymore, no matter how much they want to ride back there.

Peek-a-boo!

Duke learned how to jump on the roof and get over to the other side of his dog house. Little did he know that it's always easier getting there, coming back is the hard part.

Not just an ordinary grill-less BBQ stand...

Duke found a way to get the most out of this backyard decoration.

Loop-dee-loop...

Reminds me of Montezuma's Revenge at Knott's Berry Farm.
