You say "Jump"...
Duke says "How high?". That is, as long as you have a ball in your hand while doing it.

I think Eddie is chasing Duke in this shot. The only give away was the ball in the leader's mouth.
Duke & Eddie looking a bit guilty of something. Not sure of what, but I'm sure I'll find out soon.
I caught Eddie feeling pretty good about his doghouse as he was rolling around on his back all over the sleeping cushions. It looks like he enjoyed every second of it.
Playing fetch with himself & the pool. Even tho he does all the work by being the thrower & the catcher, Duke just can't get enough of the good times him & the pool have.
There's something about this picture that just screams "Summer" to me. It just looks so warm & fun. But it also makes me laugh everytime I see it, 'cause Eddie looks a little cross-eyed.
Duke can go from happy to deadly serious when there is a ball in hand with any kind of movement. He's gotta be on his toes in case someone is crazy enough to throw it for him.
WAAAAAY too close! There are many things your tongue should not be near & your butt is the one that's on the top of that list!
Notice how Duke has an extra ball stashed away by his hind paw for emergency purposes. You can never be too prepared.
On how NOT to walk your dog. Never let them lead or they'll think they're the pack leader. I'm working on breaking this habit. It's tough, but I think Eddie's learning. Duke on the other hand...he can be stubborn sometimes & now is the time.
Duke playing in the backyard in his birthday suit. Amazing what a collar can do for a dog.
I don't know what they were trying to get, but it must have been fun. They stayed like this for 5 minutes! Maybe they discovered Eddie's hidden stash of bones that he always hides, but can never find.
Well, he's kinda orange like one. Close enough even tho he doesn't have stripes.
Here's another pic from the swimming days of summer. Duke's hiding behind the BBQ cause he doesn't want to get wet. What a big chicken!
To a few months ago. I miss seeing the dogs in the pool. Now that summer's almost over, the water's been so cold so the boys haven't swam in a while. Here's a pic to give you good summer feelings again. I just love Eddie's face when he swims...& check out those swimming paws!
A pidgeon spotted the boys when we were out walking, so he decided to strut in front of them just to tease them & get them all riled up. Pidgeons can be so mean.
Duke's favorite toy holding technique, by just letting them rest gently & safely in his mouth on his pointy fangs.
Looks like they got into a fight & aren't on speaking terms at the moment.
2 of Duke's prized posessions were trapped & he couldn't save them! What's a boy to do?! I couldn't bear to hear Duke's constant whining & pacing, so I had to step in & open the garage door to free the 2.
Eddie is ready for the cold & waiting for his winter coat to grow in. I think he's bored of sleeping on his cushion right now & has resorted to sleeping on the hard wood floor.
Everytime we take the boys somewhere in the truck, they always battle for the passenger side window. Usually, one of them will try to go under the other and stick their head in the only opening available in order to feel the wind in their fur. This time Duke tried another route.
