You've made it to the carpet, you're safe...
But then again, a strange & eerie feeling comes over you as if someone was watching you or standing behind you...licking their lips.

Duke & Eddie look so funny when they tilt their ears to the side. I reminds me of Spike & Gizmo from the movie Gremlins.
Eddie not letting any of these sun rays go to waste, making sure it touched every part of his body.
Eddie applying some sun strips from the kitchen window to keep himself warm. Perfectly lined up to get the maximum body coverage.
But I don't think it applies to Duke. Here he is, missing his tennis ball...who is stuck outside & all alone to fend for himself.
Yo, Duke! Stop looking at the tennis ball in the pool.
Duke looks like he just woke up from a 3 hour nap. Just a typical day in the life of a dog, I guess.
He'll try staring at Duke for a bit to see if he lets go of the chewie, but when Duke doesn't even acknowledge him, Eddie will just pout for the rest of the night.
You know the one he gives you when you pick up his most favorite thing in the world & he realizes that he's got you trapped, cause you'll have to throw it sooner or later.
Getting pics of them without getting caught!
Eddie finally warmed up to Cody & accepted his new cousin, so he decided to show Cody the ropes of being a dog. Ya know, life lessons & tips. He told him how bad things can sometimes happen to good canines & not letting it break your spirit. Explaining to Cody how he dealt with his bad experience with being locked up for a few months & showing him the correct way to enter & exit the cage. He then went on to teach him the proper way of eating dog food..."transporting" is the way to go, cause everyone knows that only hoodlums eat from the bowl.
It's Cody! This time making the trek up to our surf town. From the looks of it, Duke & Eddie weren't too thrilled to see him on their home turf. Cody sure knows how to put the look of fear in their eyes.
But not really, cause they always find me after the 1st shot. I need to get a quieter camera!
And Duke's not liking the looks of the things to come...not liking it one bit.
Cody measuring himself up to the big boys. But by the looks of Cody's paws, he'll probably surpass Duke & Eddie after the 1st year!
Duke & Eddie's little cousin, Cody.
Not only does Eddie hog up all the wind, he tries to take in more than his lips can handle.
Yesterday, we took a long drive to my favorite surf town to meet another new member of the family. The boys love any excuse to get in the truck & feel the wind in their face. Sometimes Eddie gets too caught up in the moment & hogs up all the wind.
Eddie taking a nap on his pillow on a cold afternoon. This is the only time that you can catch his tail when it's not in a curly swirl.
He's been doing alot of this lately...just sitting somewhere in the line of sight of the kitchen door, with an intense stare until someone comes out to play with him & his amazing toys. Maybe he's practicing his telepathic powers. I gotta admit that the force he puts out is pretty strong, cause most of the time it does work on you.
Duke loves to take his toys with him everywhere he goes, just so he can keep an eye on them. Most of the time he'll drop a ball in the waterbowl or food dish, get distracted by something (or another toy) & will forget to pick it back up. It usually sits in there until Duke decides to eat or drink again. He'll see it, get all excited to have found it & finally pick it up (I think it's his ADHD hard at work). Eddie is used to living with Duke & his annoying bad habits, so he doesn't let it ruin his day. Eddie will just eat around the thing.
Duke was just waiting by the door, sitting so proper, gazing into the backyard. In this shot you can really see his cold weather "insulation" beefing up on him. With his tiny head, his sillouette looks more like a glass beer bottle instead of an hourglass shape. But he doesn't mind, there's just more of him to love! Right, Duke?!
When he would run free at the park & chase the birds til his legs would give up.
